My phone has been eating my battery life like crazy. I read some forums and found that Media can sometimes be kept on from a SD card sync, etc. I removed the SD card and the phone was way better for around a week. Now today the media is back to eating up my battery life. Here is my battery summary:
Media = 88%
com.motorola.home.message = 5%
display = 3%
wi-fi = 2%
phone idle = 2%
cell standby = 2%

when I open the media here is what I get:
CPU total 1h 38min 56sec
Keep awake 1h 53min 33s

packages
mediasync
download manager
com.motorola.android.omadrm
downloads
drm protected content storage
oma download
media storage

This is all after my phone has came off a fully charge and not used for approx 2 1/2 hours.

Any suggestions?

I've read elsewhere that this can happen if there is a bad media file somewhere either on the external SD card or on the internal "SD card". What I would try is to back up the files on internal storage (called "/SDcard" in Astro file manager) by copying them to your PC, format the internal storage (in settings->storage) and see if that solves the problem. Then copy back to storage only the files that you absolutely need.
