Media volume mutes and wont turn back on

I have a weird issue with the volume on my phone. I cant get it to happen regularly so I cant say how it happens. All I know is that sometimes if I am listening to music (via Spotify, TwistPlayer, etc) and I go into another app (YouTube for instance) and play a video, it mutes my media volume and I am not able to turn it back up. The only solution I have found is to reboot the phone.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have a solution?

Ive had this issue as well with my s4. Its the only real problem I have with it so far.

Ok so I kept looking into it. I downloaded the advanced task killer or atk off the google play store and after killing all apps and checking if the media vol is back to work, it was. Try this out and see if it helps u.
