I have a huge amount of CD's that contain my scans of xray's and mri's. Can I read them on a regular CD player or do I need special software and a computer? Thanks.

I recall that I got a copy of an mri on disk. It came with proprietary reader software (app) on the disk. That might not always be the case.

I don't have a PC with a CD drive but I can gain access to one soon. When I do, ill try what you suggested. Thanks for the help.

If the images are easily readable as JPG or other conventional image file types, then definitely copy them to a hard drive for safekeeping.

Do you have a PC in the first place? External CD/DVD drives are pretty cheap.
