meid dec intresting

has anyone else noticed that the decimal meid from under the battery dose not match the one you have to put in to activate a optimus v with virgin... just double checked and in the midle of mine they added a 2 that was not on the sticker on the back .. you get the phones's meid from doing ##meid# btw if anyone is interested
