Memory Display

I tried searching for this but I'm such a noob I don't even know where to find this info. When I go into the "running services" menu inside of the application settings it displays the available memory at the bottom. I'm trying to figure out what it means when it says "Avail: 24MB+170MB in 34, Other: 91MB in 8". Why is there a "+" and what does in 34 mean? What is other? Any help is greatly appreciated!

not too sure about that, though i could speculate...i use an app called memory usage if i need to see what is running on my phone

It means 24mb free plus 170mb which can be freed by the os by closing apps and 91mb in 8 non-closeable apps.
