Memory Problem after updating to KitKat

Hi All,

I do have Xperia Z1 and i recently updated to Kit Kat 4.4.2. After this update when i go to Settings -> Apps -> Running, when i add up the used and free memory i am only getting 1.7 GB but my phone specification is 2GB of RAM. Is anyone else facing the same problem?
Why is this so?

Note: I have checked the same memory before this update.
