Menu button gone

After upgrading to 10 the menu button is gone. I have this one app I have used for years and I need the menu button for certain functions.

Me U was on the bottom right. Tried all 3 gesture configs but to no avail.

btw particularly like the live scribe and dark mode.

Any ideas?

Which app? That may be up to the developer to solve -- they may not have updated the app for 10 yet, or didn't realize it's a problem. Send feedback to the developer.

I'm having this problem too. I like a particular old version of solitaire and it uses the now missing menu button for certain features.

How old is this game? Is it still available on the Play Store, or are you installing it as an apk? It sounds like it's really old if it still relies on a physical Menu button. There may not be much you can do about that if you're using a more modern device.

Same problem here. Old solitaire app which is apparently abandoned now, as well as a word game app. The solitaire app is nice because it doesn't have any ads. A couple other old apps I use have the three dot menu built-in, so not a problem.

Any 3rd party app options for adding the menu button?

Follow up: I found the app 'Menu Button (no root) on Play Store that seems to do the trick. To work, it acts as a keyboard replacement so you have to switch back & forth. Once it's setup, it prompts you to switch so it's not that inconvenient.

Old apps saved... until the next upgrade.
