Menu Color

Is there any way to get rid of the ugly bright white menu and pull down notification screens without affecting the settings like wallpaper and lockscreen? Themes seem to want to take control of everything including wallpaper. I only want to change the menu color. I use Nova Prime but don't see that setting. Am I missing it somewhere?

I have this bookmarked but haven't tried step 2 yet on my N8. I have a dark theme but the notifications drop down is white which is just stupid for an otherwise dark theme.


Edit: Just tried step 2 on my N8 using the Samsung High Contrast Theme (basically, an all black theme except for notifications) and it works- see pic.

That worked. The font color is pretty dark and hard to read on the notification panel but the ugly white is gone. Thanks!

Agreed. Wish the font was white instead of the dark gray but I still like it better than bright white background.
