Menu Home Back Search buttons wont stay on when screen is on.

I have been searching the forums and can't find the answer to this so I hope somebody could help. On the fascinate Im running CM7 with the glitch low leak Kernal. Its working great. The only thing I can't figure out is the home back search menu buttons time out a few seconds after you touch them. Other roms / kernals they stay on with the screen. I'm guessing its the kernal,but I'm not sure, maybe I can't find a setting in CM7. Any ideas would be awesome i.e. a different rom to use or a setting.

In the Settings menu there is a choice for Profiles. Within Profiles are some options for that. If you select the default profile you can poke around at the different settings and see if you can find one you like. I haven't figured it all out yet but supposedly the different application groups can be edited to do what you want.

Thanks I checked there but didn't find anything to get those to stay light with the screen.let me know if you come across the setting please.

I guess you can set that for various applications but not as an overall. Sorry!
