Merging Google Accounts - Please Help

I set up my phone with my original gmail account. My email, music, etc. are all linked to it. I recently changed my email address as I want to clean up spam and other things in my email.

So my question is how does one merge everything together? I want my google account on my phone to be my new email.

If I am understanding your question correctly, you want your new Gmail address to become the phone's primary gmail account.

The only way I know of to do this it to reset the phone and then log in with the new address. Unfortunately, as you already figured out, all your apps and music are associated with your old Gmail account.

A quick search of the Gmail help does not show any easy way to do this. You could try sending an email to Gmail support and see if it can be done.
