Message Access in Bluetooth Settings

Settings-->Wireless & Networks-->Bluetooth Settings-->Advance Settings-->Message access Settings

Anyone know what exactly this does??

Hey there,

I think that means the 3D can support sending text messages (and maybe emails) to a Bluetooth device, like a car Bluetooth system. For instance, my Ford Fusion has Sync, which supports reading texts, but it doesn't worth with my 3D, though I think that's more on the Sync side than the phone.

I think that it would let 3rd party blue tooth devices such as bluetooth interfaces in the car, access things such as SMS ect.

it works on the new myford touch system for bluetooth text messaging and contact photos show on screen.
