Just tried Textra and its running really well! opens and generally runs much smoother. also is better on the eye!

Just curious...why would you want to save thousands of messages that are 3 years old?

Why have people kept diaries for centuries? It's really cool to go back and see what you and friends were talking about or what plans you had or past flings or ex girlfriends ect. on this day in history 3-10 years ago, it brings back memories you completely forgot about. Never realized this until I Went through an old phone I got in high school (graduated 04) and instantly regretted ever deleting a single text. for the first time keeping a journal made sense to me. Anyway, I'm having the same issue (s4) hoping third party app solves the problem.
