Message blocking is active

Suddenly can't send or receive texts. Am looking at carrier, (Metro PCS), my internet wifi (turned it off) and The phone itself.
Anyone have this happen suddenly in the past day or so?

Have you actually reached anyone at Metro support? Make sure nothing in your Metro account is delinquent. Also, see if there's a setting at the carrier level that has turned off your message.

It just suddenly started working again. But I think you are right. It's something to do with the network. At least I left no stone unturned.
