'Message Failed to Send' Error Message

Hi there

I was wondering if there is a way to disable the 'message failed to send, will retry when service is available' message as it constantly appears on my lock screen. Quite annoying as it is over the enter key so when entering my passcode i am unable to actually use my phone if this message is displaying.
