Hi I am going crazy I can't figure this out. It's only when I text my friend I get a message failed sign every time. I can text everyone else No problem and I am in service. My other friends can text her phone problem and she can text me but I can't respond. Help please!!!

Deleted picture due to phone number showing. Please repost picture with number edited out.

Edit: Is the person you are messaging using an iPhone?

No, they had a iPhone but have a s5 now. They turned off their Imessage and other people who who have Samsung's have No problem texting with her. It's only me

And to clarify, you have no problems texting other people?

May not be the same reason for your problem, but I've had a message fail, and I tried several times to "retry" and it still won't go out. But if I close all open apps, then go back to messaging and start with a new text, it will go out.
I've had another failure to send when I included a picture and an emoticon in the same text. Perhaps the pix exceeded a limit in size.
Try to power cycle your phone, see if that helps.

Okay I will try that thank you for your insight

Okay so I deleted the contact and the text and then readded her without the area code and it sent. But now I magically have 2 running text convos with 2 seperate contacts for her lol one with the area and one without. But in my contacts I only see one (the one I added without the area code) It makes no sense but she received my messages.

Glad everything seems to be working well. Hopefully it stays that way.
