Message notification from single sender deactivated

I am using the pre-loaded Samsung messaging app for texts and MMS.
Yesterday I must have managed to somehow deactivate notifications for one single user. When this person is texting me I no longer get a notification area icon appearing and no blinking led. This person's text thread is now marked by a crossed-out speaker symbol. I have no idea how to rectify this. Extremely thankful for enlightenment.

Found the solution. Forgot to ask Google first this time.
