Message oval remains on screen

A translucent oval appears at the bottom of the phone. It has error messages and other info. It doesn't go away, even closing apps and opening new ones. It stays on top of the keyboard and is very annoying. So far the only way to get rid of it is to turn the phone off and back on. Anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Looks like a 3rd party app , does it go away in safe mode ?

Thanks. Still poking around. Toast has nothing Went thru every app, including system, all have permissions OFF.

Found a help site, says Motorola's notorious for not ringing and said apps could cause ghost messages and mute ringing, too.

I will keep going, unless someone knows about this and can help.

Have family emergency. Start again about 5 days.

The screenshot you shared really makes it look like a game is the cause, so consider uninstalling your games one by one.
