Message preview disappeared

I have a Samsung Galaxy 6. For no apparent reason the message previews on the lockscreen have stopped appearing. In 'Notifications' there is no option for message previews - not anywhere else I can find. Any ideas on how to get them bwck?

It should be under settings>lock screen.

If the S6 even has that...
