Message + Recent Contact Csreen...BOOO...Help?

I just got the NOTE-5, I like is so far. I had the NOTE 3 and LOVED it. I like some of the features of Message+ but can't stand the Recent Contacts screen that comes up when trying to text someone. Has anyone figured out how to get rid of that screen?

My recent contacts aren't visible while typing, but they do come up when I open the app. You can always try a different messenger app like Textra.. It works great too

What screen do you want to see?

I use Messages+ also and love it. It is so customizable and the fact that it will send/receive over wifi makes it great. Also, works on my tablet and laptop.
