Message stuck in in box

[AC Question]

My Samsung phone says I have 1 new message but there is nothing in my in box yet when I drag the screen there is a notification . I can click clear but it doesn't go away. How can I fix this?

Is this your voicemail box? Or text? This happened to my voicemail on AT&T and I tried everything to get it to go away. And eventually it just vanished on its own.
