Messages and Missed Calls

I just got a Note 9 and Galaxy Watch over the weekend and there is one thing that I find annoying. Texts I have already replied to come across my watch as unanswered it seems when I get out of Bluetooth range, sometimes not. Same with missed calls. Any way to remedy this?

Just got? Isn't working properly? Bring it back and ask for a replacement or a refund. (Unless they show you what you're doing wrong, and they fix the problem.)

Picked it up in store on Friday. I won't have time to stop by there till this Friday, so I figured I'd ask here first hoping there was something in the settings I'm overlooking. Since they're linked, I'd think that once I've read a text on either device, it wouldn't show up on the other as unread. So far I think this has only happened on the watch end. They show read on the phone when I've replied on the watch.

I have a Note9 and 46mm Galaxy watch and have not seen this problem. You are correct, it should not show back up after clearing it from watch or phone.

That's what I have as well. To clarify, I've only read the message, not cleared/deleted. I'll have to check with the store or call customer support. Thx

You didn't mention whether you have an LTE version or not but there is a long-standing issue with re-downloading of messages upon dropping off of bluetooth and picking up LTE:

I still have the issue, as I'm sure plenty of others do too, and it's not an isolated physical defect.
