So I accidentally changed my stepbrother's texts to switch sms /mms and so I dunno if it's his settings or something that I did on mine. My stepbrother has S9+ as well. Anyone that has the same phone, it tells me when the message has been delivered and read.

It hasn't been happening when I text my stepbrother.

This delivered and read feature beside the text message is usually a good feature because my stepbrother often reads the text without replying back. Lol. So it's nice to know he read the message.

I need to figure out how to get that to work whenever I text my stepbrother.

I don't have an S9, but it should be in Settings (in the app, not from the home screen), in SMS or in - what does Samsung call it? - More? There's SMS, MMS and something else. It should be in SMS or "something else".

Also find the "send multiple SMS messages" or "don't break SMS" or something like that. (If the message is longer than 160 characters, the only options are multiple messages or a single MMS with the whole message - the SMS protocol can only handle 160 characters at a time - MMS makes a text file of the whole message and sends that.) Change it to the way it was.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! Well, I know the reading confirmation feature is on. And it's only supported by chat messages which I have turned on so it should work. I don't know why else it wouldn't.

All the messages I send to my stepbrother end up being mms messages for some reason.
