Messages app vs Android messages

Hey all, have anyone used both he stock messages app and the Android messages app before?
Which would you say is the better app for messages?

every time I try to use any messaging app it ends up installing textra again, IT ROCKS!

I prefer the stock app - inserting media is more straight forward

I've been using tbe Android app, but I'm back on Samsung stock app since the upgrade to Android 7.0.

I prefer the stock app for looks and attaching media but the SMS delivery reports drive me crazy, it's such a stupid way to do it compared to the way most others do. For now I'll be using hangouts until they take it away next month.

I've gone back to the stock app as i can customise it much more than the android one

I've always used stock messaging app. I've tried multiple third party ones but they never seem to appeal to me

I recently switched out textra to go back to the stock app. I didn't make it a day before I went back to textra. I couldn't get mms, wasn't getting all my text messages and I was getting empty text messages from unknown senders. Don't know whether the app was just having issues that day, but I wasn't going to keep waiting to see if it would start adding right. The stock app isn't bad when it works.
