So I have WiFi on and my phone fails to send texts? 2014 moto x.. What am I doing wrong?? Happendd twice today.

4g LTE was missing but was now back and grayed out. Don't texts send with out 4g/3g??

No.

SMS/MMS only use OTA transmissions. Exceptions do exist: Republic Wireless is an example.
