Hi All,

If I click "Messages" icon on my home screen it takes me to the "All Messages" page. At the bottom are 3 tabs/icons. One for the All Messages page, one for SMS/MMS page and one for Voicemail page. The All Messages tab/icon and the SMS/MMS tab/icon have big blue circles with the number 2 inside. I figured this meant I had 2 unread messages but I have looked through them all and I do not. What does this mean?

Double check your messages and make sure you're not missing something. Are you using the stock messaging app or did you download a 3rd party messaging app. If you did, check both apps... you may have duplicates that you're not seeing.
Otherwise just reboot your phone and they should go away... happens sometimes.

Yeah...every once in a while the number of messages stays there even they have been cleared/deleted. Reboot gets rid of it.

The 'new message' number tends to stick if you back out of the app too quickly. It's just a minor (yet annoying) lag. Next time you get a message, tap the back arrow to return to the "All messages" screen and then wait a couple of seconds - the number will disappear and then you can close the app. :)

>>I'm too slow<<

What I found, is if you read a message, and the quickly tap the "back" button a couple times to get back to the main screen, it passes that screen too quickly to reset the unread count.
However, if you read a message, and then click the back button once and pause on that screen for a couple seconds, it will mark them as read.

Quicker than a reboot.
