I am using the stock messaging app. I keep getting a notification that says '4 messages not sent'. I don't see any messages that didn't send. I even deleted all my conversations. I cleared the apps data and cache, but I still get the notification.

Any ideas why?

Hello!

My advice to you is to download a third-party messaging app, like Textra, and see if the problem still persists. If it does, then perhaps this is an issue for your carrier to resolve. Let us know! :)

I second this. I'm using an unlocked LG device, and I had issues with the stock messaging app on AT&T. I installed Textra, and it works great without any glitches.

I tried Android Messenger and the problem went away. I have my phone through AT&T. The good thing about the stock Messenger app is that it supported AT&T's Advanced Messaging which is useful when I text with my wife. Not sure if 3rd party apps support that. My wife has the exact same phone, but she doesn't have the problem.

Thanks for the help

So glad your messaging problem is over! Hmm, I'm not sure if third party apps like Android Messenger have that option - but you can always contact the app developer and ask!
