Messages+ notifications

I have a Galaxy S20. It came with messages and I was having trouble getting an audible notification. I called support and they said to shift to Messages+ (red with two white talk bubbles) in it.

I originally had an audible notification of an incoming text but now NOTHING, no sound, no vibration, nothing.

What am I not doing, what do I do or what app can I use? I need a reliable text app that will notify me when I have an incoming text.

Hi, welcome to AC!

You check in the settings of message+ app ? Also long press it then tap info >notification tap on it>each category there u can tap.to go get u to another sub menu to see if notification tone is on
