Messages received in "pie" questions

Anyone else using stock messenger getting a message to "let recipient know you have read there message" When you receive a message.I don't want to be asked this everytime I receive a message. If you have experienced this does anyone know how to turn it off permanently.

It's a read receipt asked for by the sender.

That's correct. When the sender has their "delivery report" settings turned on, your device will confirm with you if you want to fulfill their request.

Let the sender know it's annoying and request they turn off their messages settings for that feature, or not.

Guess it depends if you want the sender to know you've read there message. Seems a one time thing.
