Messages scheduled send bug

I first noticed this bug weeks ago and reported it to Google and of course it's fallen on deaf ears. I reported it AGAIN this evening and mentioned it in my review on Play Store.

Scheduled send does not work for a specific time chosen by the user. If I tap on "Pick a date and time" I select a date from the calendar but nothing happens to allow me to then choose the time.

Anyone else able to reproduce the issue? I use scheduled send quite often and it's a royal PITA that I can't pick the EXACT day and time I WANT to send the text.

It might come in a update or 2 , don't expect it to be fixed the moment you send a report . I've not use this yet so can't comment on that .

Maybe this is a moot point, but I tried this on my Pixel 5 and it worked. We'll see what happens when the message actually sends, though.

This is a very useful feature -- hopefully Google fixes it!

Hmmm, I sent the feedback weeks ago annd then again last night. I've also gotten numerous Messages app updates in the last few weeks thinking maybe it would be fixed.

The fact it's working in beta means it hopefully gets squashed soon. I used to do beta testing on lots of apps but stopped because it can be so time consuming.

And, the scheduled message I did set up last night, using the predefined times available, didn't even send. So basically, scheduled send doesn't work at all on my P6P which is a shame because I never had it NOT work in 4 years with my Samsung Note 8.
