Device: Samsung Galaxy s4 (AT&T)
For some odd reason my text messaging apps all started failing today. It began when I attempted to send some pictures to my wife from the "Messaging" app. Shortly thereafter the app began to run very slow and freezing. It since has refused to open and I get the message "Messaging isn't responding. Do you want to close it?" I have cleared the cache and the data. When I try to use GoSMS Pro or Hangouts, it freezes and I must power of my phone using the power button and then turn it back on. Any help would be much appreciated. Phone calls work fine, btw.
Edit: Ok, Hangouts is working somewhat now. However, Messaging is still slooooooooooooooooooooooooow and prone to freezing.
