Have you tried using another messaging app like Chomp SMS or Textra?

I agree.... I hate this new color and not too fond of the whole update so far. I don't really want to have to download another app on my phone to be able to get away from that color... Mustard yellow is putting it nicely... I call it bird**** color:-\
