Messaging Issue

Not sure whether this is a provider issue or phone issue. Throughout the day, messaging/calls stop working. I only notice when I attempt to send a message (with sufficient signal) when i get a "Sending" under the message, as well as a message in white text/black background saying it was unable to send, try later (along those lines). I reboot the phone, and POW! tons of messages as well as voice mails. The phone is stock, you can say with minimal apps added.

Any ideas?

I've had the phone ~2 months and 2 days ago was the first occurrence of this.

When this happens, you should hold down the power like you're going to select to turn off the phone. Then check to see if the data network mode is activated.Sometimes while I'm trying to put the phone in its holster,I will accidentally deactivate the data network mode and won't notice anything till I try to use an app that requires internet access

I've had the phone since it came out, and have sent literally thousands of text messages. I've seen what you have reported once. But it was when I was trying to send a Multi-media message. I rebooted and it solved the problem. I also don't use the stock messenger app. GO SMS has more customization.

I ended up getting a new SIM. The 3g card was supposedly the issue. That didn't solve it.

As far as data being on/off, I usually have it off anyway. I've had the phone almost 2 months and this just started. After 5 or so attempts with technical support as well as a Factory reset, a replacement is on it's way to my house. Some nights it will work great without issue, but then the next morning it does this. Today, it has worked perfectly so far. I was also getting a SIM MM#3 message when it was acting up. Hopefully the replacement works longer than 2 months.

I had this except

The messages would go out, but no messages would come in, after going to att multiple times and calling several service reps, and managers morons that didnt know anything about the phone except what they read off the back, I performed a factory reset and now it works like a charm
