Question Messaging/texting

Jello folks!
I am such a moron when it comes to any technology whatsoever so please bare with me andI don't know whether to say that I (recently purchased) have a Sammy A15 5G (regret ever doing so) or an Android 14. What's the proper way?
p.s. Before this, I had a Galaxy J7 Crown for 6 years and I still miss it everyday.
Anyway, So I heard that these Samsung phones have a problem with this...
I will try to send a text or picture or both and it just keeps sending......... sending..... And never goes through. But as soon as I turn on Airplane mode, wait 5-10 seconds, and then turn it off, TADAH; it finally sends.
This is getting really old and extremely annoying. Samsung people have just said that it's a glitch in a lot of Sammy phones and that's it. Then why don't they fix it?
Anyone help me out with this?

Welcome to Android Central forums. To your first question, it depends on where you are posting the information. Here we like to know what device you have, it's more helpful for everyone. We can look up exact examples and get specific directions and information. Where if we just know which OS version we can't be a specific.

As for your messaging question I would say this isn't typical or a widespread issue with the device. I would imagine we'd see a lot more questions and comments about it if it were.

What app are you using for messaging?

Is it every MMS message, or are there some that go through without taking it offline and bringing it back?

Dose it happen every time you text the same number or include a particular contact?

You mention that you just got this device, has this been an issue from the start or did it recently start happening?

How many messages do you have? Tens of thousands, I've never deleted a message, thousands but I keep on my messaging housekeeping, hardly any, if it isn't important it goes bye-bye?

Not knowing the answer to any of these questions I would say the place to start is clearing the app cache for your messaging app. Here's where knowing which phone comes into play. Open Settings>Apps>your messaging app>Force stop>Storage>Clear cache. Then test.

Another thing you could try would be to try another app. If you're using Google Messages, try Samsung Messages or Go SMS. Let us know the results.

Answer these questions and let us know what you find and we'll offer more advice.
