Does anyone use messaging instead of text messages? I suppose its useful for the universal inbox. But you can't add a gmail account, only the standard email app. So right now it only has facebook and text messages in it.

I don't use messaging at all. Texting is easier and don't use up the battery compare to messaging.

Its all the same. Enter tex in tex or enter all your stuff in messaging. I use messaging to open my email accounts but when looking at or sending a tex I have the tex app on home screen.

Messaging is more for your email accounts, it allows you to view all accounts in one stationary area, when you have 6 email accounts and you have multiple emails come in on multiple accounts it is the easiest way to view and read all available messages, I use this area regularly and I prefer it.

well i only have email account which i use the gmail app for. if the universal inbox included gmail i might use it. but currently it only has text messaging and facebook messages. which is somewhat disappointing since i would like all my email and text and facebook to be in one place
