Ever since the Froyo update when I send a picture via text message it skips the screen that you put the recipient in and goes straight to the text screen. I have to hit the back button to put in the recipient. Not a big deal, but it was not like this before the update. I have done a factory reset it didn't seem to do anything.

You are right. It goes directly to the compose box. Type your message and tap done. Then it takes you to the "to" box for the addressee. It's just reversed since the update it seems.

Yeah, that supposedly was to help sending MMS to multiple recipients.
