messed up rooting evo 4g

Help!!! I tried rooting My evo4g and messed up somewhere, now it says my phone has no driver installed. should i factory reset my phone and start over??? Help Please

If you go to Hboot does it say S-off? or S-on?

Boot into recovery and flash a rom. If you dont have a recovery, download the zip file for a recovery, rename it to PC36IMG.zip and place on root of sd card. Boot into Hboot and it will search for the PC36IMG.zip file and it will ask if you want to install. Hit up to accept and it will flash the custom recovery to your phone. Hit down at the end to keep the phone on. Go to recovery and flash a rom from there that you save to your sd card before hand.
