Messenger is running?

I now have that popping up in my notification panel. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? It just started doing that. Messenger has been acting up also

Do you mean Facebook Messenger? You could try uninstalling and reinstalling.

I was wrong... All the problems started back again.

Any other suggestions? Notifications no longer work. Chat heads didn't work either. I made sure that everything was on when I deleted the app and reinstalled it.

I cleared the cache and it started working again... now it's back to messing up again.

The problem that I am having:

Chat heads doesn't pop up anymore... It's turned on.

My notifications for just this app is a very slight vibration and that's it.

If I pull the notification shade down I'll see the message.

If I click on the message nothing happens. It doesn't take me to messenger

I can't share pictures from another message.

When I clear cache it works for a couple of minutes then it goes back to messing up

Also when I am in messenger the new messages are highlighted as unread. When I open them it goes away but it turns right back to unread.

Thank you for the info, I'll try find more info on this ,there's no uninstall update otherwise I would suggest that , can try uninstall messenger and use messenger lite see how that goes might be a bug in regular messenger .

How long as it been happening? I don't have Messenger installed, but looked in the Play Store and noticed there was an update Feb. 10th. Could just be something FB screwed up with the most recent update and have to wait it out until they fix it.

Have you tried lite yet see if any issues with that ?

No issues with lite version.

Probably bug in regular messenger
