I don't think the $2 is unreasonable for the WatchMaker app, but I do think it is a bit misleading- they make it sound like it is free, when in reality the "free" version is very limited and doesn't allow downloading and using third-party watchfaces, like yours.

I have looked through hundreds of watch faces and tried dozens and still can't find that perfect one that meets my needs. Perhaps one of the most frustrating parts of owning the 360 Someday I will find it!

that was exactly my thought. i don't recall seeing any verbiage to indicate you need the pay version in order to use 3rd party watch faces...

anyway, i too have not found the "perfect" watch face. i'm actually looking for 3 - one for formal settings, one for workouts/sports ala g-shock style, one for casual/going out settings...

that would take a lot of time!

the closest one i've found is an omega x-33 face. it looks sporty, classy, and casual all at the same time. i change faces a lot but i keep going back to that one.

What exactly are you looking for?

Well, the closest I have found so far is Commando.. but it isn't quite right either.

* Darkish theme but good quality
* Full screen analog time with second hand
* Numbers for all hours on analog dial
* Large inset digital time but does NOT get overly obscured by analog hands
* Medium digital date (short form OK)
* Stopwatch function (analog or digital)
* Digital phone/watch battery indicators
* Outside temp would be nice. Current, projected high/low even better.

It seems rare to find a really well-done, dual analog & digital where they look good and don't interfere with each other. I think I might find something close and start customizing it. I was surprised at how many options are in Watchmaker and how nice it is. I already figured out some of it, so I might just get what I need

Unrelated, but my problem right now is that I just started with this Watchmaker stuff, and today was the first full day using a Watchmaker face and it DESTROYED my 360's battery! I normally have 65%+ battery after 16 hours off the charger (2.19% per hour). Today it burned through 20% of my battery (80% charge) in 75 minutes (16% per hour)!! So I changed the face back to a stock, non-watchmaker one and it still went down to 58% charge 45 minutes later (29% per hour!!!!). I finally rebooted the watch in desperation and it seemed to return to normal on the stock face. So I am just now trying to move more slowly to see what is going on.

Unrelated, but my problem right now is that I just started with this Watchmaker stuff, and today was the first full day using a Watchmaker face and it DESTROYED my 360's battery! Testing today has been MUCH better since rebooting the phone and watch. I am at 79% remaining with it off the charger for 10.5 hours (2% per hour) using a Watchmaker face. So something went crazy haywire on the day I installed, uninstalled (by accident), and reinstalled Watchmaker.

That seems to be an issue with the Moto and apps...a restart/reset sometimes does it and a couple charges...lol
