I have a magnetic mount in my car. I want to transfer the metal sticker plate from my old phone case to my Pixel 3 XL case. Do I need to worry about it interfering with wireless charging? Does anyone know specifically where the wireless charging "sensors" are on the 3 xl?

I keep the plate low on my phone and have no issues whatsoever with wireless charging.

Good news. I purchased soschi plates And mounted it on the Pixel 3. I used the largest plate and mounted it on the very bottom of the phone. It changes with no problem in the Google charge stand. It also stable on the mount..

Can you add a link to which one(s)?

Does it still rapid charge? I tried this with a spigen plate - I have a circular magnet at the very bottom of my phone. Still works great on my magnet mount, but on my pixel stand, while it will say "charging rapidly" when I first place my P3 on the stand, it will soon change to "charging slowly," and I assume it's because the magnetic plate is interfering. I could try the rectangular plate on its side, as I think that may get the top edge a little lower, but will have to see.

I have what is probably a 'standard' rectangular plate set against the bottom of my Pixel 3 XL in a Bellroy case. No trouble maintaining fast charging on the pixel stand. Also no trouble staying locked on my Koomus car mount, so long as I keep the phone mounted in 'portrait' orientation. In 'landscape,' the weight of the top end of the phone causes it to slowly dip.

No problem with the plate at the very bottom of the phone. I have to be careful when I remove it from the magnetic mount so that it doesn't come off from the vent.
