EDIT: nevermind I figured out what to do.
It seems like on my previous phones I could move app icons from one screen to another by moving the icon near the top of the screen (also seem to remember a trashcan up there as well) dropping the icon. Then swiping to the destination screen and pulling the icons(s) down from the top of the screen to relocate them. My new Note9 doesn't seem to work like this.
Because of some physical issues I find it difficult to hold constant pressure on the icon and getting it near enough to the edge of the screen, waiting for the screen to scroll one by one and then dropping the icon all in one motion.
Is there a way to get the older android behavior back? Always trying to learn something new.
Thanks.
ETA:
For anyone who is reading. I found that I could long press an app icon. Use the select option that pops up. Select multiple icons if wanted, then scroll to a destination screen and drop them by pressing on the screen.
