mhl adapter not working since I updated my phone

I updated my evo 3s about a week ago and ever since then I am not able to use my mhl adapter. Usually the phone recognizes that it has been plugged in but nothing happens now only the charging light turns on and there is nothing being displayed on the TV screen.

It worked before. So im thinking you might need to do a hard reset.

Have you checked your usb connection type to make sure it is set to disk drive?

Just do a factory reset and you'll be good.

If you do decide to do a reset too make your life less miserable from reinstalling all your market apps; download app backup (black floppy disc image) and back up your apps before you do a factory reset. When you reset, just open market and it will redownload all your apps.
