Has anyone experience with this Mhl adapter on their note 3?

Just bought it but I'm quite unsure if it'll perform like it should

I don't use the mhl adapters. I just use Chromecast.

Is there really no one using this with a note 3?

I have one - works on both my note 3 and the 10.1 (2014). I did find that it definitely needed auxiliary power (should have an input for a charger on the side of the MHL adapter. It works great to put the scrreen on a TV, which Chromecast doesn't really do (except for specific apps like Hulu).
