Any one ever have this issue of the mic feeding back while not on a call? It seems to happen when placing my finger over the mic hole or sitting on something like cloth that seals the mic hole or pressing the back of the case to seal the internal mic screen. I went in and cleared ram and it seemed to go away. But always returns. I am running the latest CleanGB r18 rom................. Any ideas Thanks!

That was an issue with one of the previous leaked builds. They figured it was something in the kernel. I would try a different kernel, or do a full wipe and reflash to make sure there isn't some old code sitting around.

I only heard of it happening with an older version of CM7 and I think that has been fixed. Sometimes ust a reboot will stop it temporarily...

I too have recently noticed this happening, and sure enough, a reboot of the phone seemed a temporary fix. Not sure what triggers a reoccurrence. I'm running the 2.6.35.6-nubernel kernel but don't recall at the moment which EI200 ROM I've got. It was ACS 3.5 for a while, until I found it wasn't working with Doubletwist, so I think I reverted to the pre-rooted, deodexed EI22 update that was built upon the nubernel kernel. I may try cleanly reflashing both the kernel and ROM tonight, or perhaps install CleanGB18.
