Mic Issues with Galaxy 21+

Can anyone tell me why my mic would work for my camera app, barely work for phone calls, and not work at all for other apps? I've done everything I can think of including resetting to factory settings.

You made sure all the mics on the device are clean of debris? Can try safe mode see if working and test out your mics in device care diagnostic section.

Thank you, I did the diagnostic and 2nd mic is working but 1st mic is not, it's been messed up for a few months, and I'm planning to upgrade soon so I suppose I can deal with the issue for a little while longer

Maybe a workaround using a Bluetooth earbuds

I have some I can use if I really need, they just irritate my ears after a bit. Too bad apps won't let you specify which mic to use.

Yeah not sure of a way that could be done but also can Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker, I hear you on irritation on the ears
