Micro Sd card help

I've recently found that my phone,HTC one M9. erases my apps that were stored on the sd card, after restarting the phone .I moved the apps to the sd card to save space on the internal storage of the phone . How do I keep the apps on the sd card ? or the phone from erasing them?

It might be an issue with the card. Can you try a different card?

Yes!!! It was the card. I tried a new one today.turned the phone off , back on. All apps are still there. Thank you B.Diddy
