IMO, get the best one that you want to spend money on.. Don't get any of the cheap fakes, and also IMO, get a class 10.. I have two Sandisk Ultra 64gb Class 10s. One in my Note 3, and one in my Note 2014.. I make sure I format them in their respective devices..They work flawlessly.

Also, I have ventured into the cheap/fake 64gb class 10 sd cards too. I learned my lesson. Expect to pay about $50 upward for one...IMO again, they are a must-have item for smartphones and tablets for the simple reason apps don't go to well on sd cards, but pictures, movies and music work just fine on sd cards. That saves your precious internal memory for apps..

Just my two cents, and I am a novice at this too. :D

HC - high capacity
XC - eXtended capacity

Micro SD is 2 GB and below.
Micro SD - HC is between 4 and 32 GB.
Micro SD - XC is 32 GB to 2 TB

64gb cards are xc. It's not a measure of speed, just capacity.

The speed Class is what you should be looking at. Class 6 should be more than capable of anything you're doing, but most of the larger capacities are class 10 anyway.

There is actually one reason to pay attention to the XC or HC, and that in reference to USB card readers.Older models may not support XC cards, and really old models may not support HC cards.
