I’m coming from the iPhone XS Max 512 and felt like getting the 10 + 128. What’s the best SD card to get? I want to add about 300 gigs

It depends on how much you want to spend. I just ordered the Samsung 512 GB Evo Plus for $148.99:

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Memo...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6473624

There's also the Sandisk Ultra 400 GB on sale at Amazon for $77.70, but it's U1 & 4K recording may be problematic:

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-400G...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6473624

The Sandisk Extreme 400 GB card is U3 (better suited for 4K), but it's more expensive at $121.99:

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-400G...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6473624

NOTE: only buy from a reputable vendor (many third-parties sell on Amazon - read the listing carefully), perform tests to verify the card BEFORE you start copying your data to it, and make sure it's returnable if you have any problems - there are lots of fake cards listed, even on Amazon.

Speed little more on U3, future proof. Still using my Samsung 256GB EVO for last couple years.

Samsung is good ... except. (They updated the ROM in the S3 - the new ROM ate SD cards. It wasn't Samsung that came up with the first fix, it was SanDisk that did. And SanDisk is the inventor of the technology. And they have online help, if you ever have a problem. [I have 32MB cards of theirs - they're too old to be useful for anything any more - but they still work.] I never buy anything else, and the only card I ever had that "failed" was one I broke due to clumsiness.)

Nice. I can load all my music etc there?

Yes. You can either put music files from your personal collection directly on the SD card, or if you use a paid service like Google Play Music or Spotify, there will usually be an option to save downloaded music to the SD card. I used to use Play and now I use Spotify, and both apps have this option.

Whether you can put "all" your music there depends of course on how much you've got and how big of a card you get. But 256 GB goes a long way!
