Microphone not working with Google application anymore

I went to tap the icon in the google application, but the microphone does not work. "Cannot Reach Microphone" error message. Works in phone calls and recording. I tried to restart the phone.

Might be a Google thing. Seems there are tons of Google problems concerning their apps right now... Google Maps, Google Play Services, Google Now. You might try uninstalling any recent Google updates to see if it helps. Also make sure Google Search is not disabled as this is the app that handles the microphone on your keyboard and such.

In addition to reported bugs, I think there may be a conflict when Moto Voice is enabled too!!

a. remove updates

Are you referring to Google Play Store App updates and searches??
