Microphone Sounds Muffled to Listeners on S10+

(I saw an earlier thread and the only solution posted was actually for muffled sounding speaker not the mic)
When I use my S10+ up to my ear, people say I sound muffled, if I use the speaker and hold the mic in front of my mouth horizontally , it sounds better to the listener

Whats going on, I am always going to have to use the phone on speaker and hold it with the mic an inch from my mouth front on?

You made sure all mic are clean and free of dirt?

Welcome to Android Central! Remember that speakerphone uses the secondary mic (at the top of the phone), not the primary mic. If the primary mic opening is clear, then the mic itself may be faulty. Has there been any water exposure?

Yes, they are clear and free of dirt, and have not had any water exposure

If you have a case on, try taking it off. If that doesn't help, then try it in Safe Mode: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/android/samsung-galaxy-s10/safe-mode-samsung-galaxy-s10. If that doesn't help, then consider contacting Samsung for warranty repair or replacement.

Then pull your notification panel down and long press the icon Dolby Atmos and it should be on auto try voice see if it improves

I had this problem from the beginning on my S9+. It was intermittent. Never did figure it out. Speakerphone and bluetooth always were crystal clear, according to everyone else.
