MicroSD not reading/registering

My sd card was working fine one minute on my Evo 4g then suddenly it says space unavailable and doesn't reconginze it. In addition to that I have put it in an Evo 3d and it says the same thing. My computer does not recognize it either when inserted into an sd adapter in the SD slot.

I have looked into maybe downloading a recovery program, but I am not sure if that will be fruitle considering the computer won't recognize it in the slot. I have also found a thread here about their 'fried' sd card and I wonder if this has happened to me.

Is there anyway to get my Evo to recognize the sd card?

Pull the battery.

If that does not help then I would have a Sprint tech take a look at it. gut feeling is that its dead. Or so thats what it sounds like to me.

I am afraid of that myself. darn.

Tech Support said to plug in my phone to the computer and it does not recognize the sd storage on the phone either. boo.

Ya that sucks! Sounds a lot like It's dead

Wish you the best of luck! Who knows maybe Sprint will just give you a new one. (Unless It's one you bought your self)

Sounds like you have covered the basics.
Tried several devices as well as a card reader to a computer.
The only thing i can say about the card reader is make sure its SDHC compatible. I have a few at my office that to micro SD but are not HC compatible. So 2GB is the largest card they recognize.
